Young Entrepreneurs Bootcamp

Are you a high school student eager to make a positive impact on the world? Join our 4-Day Young Entrepreneurs Bootcamp, where innovation meets purpose!

Bulimba Community Centre, with support from ThinkPlace, are proud to be hosting this program in the June school holidays for Brisbane based school students (Grades 9-12 or equivalent) designed to give a glimpse into the world of entrepreneurship, design and innovation. You’ll hear from Australia’s leading designers, innovators, and start-up founders to find out just what it takes to build a purpose-driven business.

Come by yourself or invite your friends to come up with an innovative business idea to address some big challenges:

• Health and wellbeing: Increasing the health and wellbeing of people, families, and communities.
• Towards Net Zero: Repairing our planet and reducing the impact to climate change.
• Vibrant Communities: Bringing communities together, reducing social isolation and increasing the participation in community engagement.
• Technology with purpose: Using technology like AI and VR to make people’s lives at home and work easier and more fulfilling.

At the end of the bootcamp, teams will showcase their innovative business ideas to friends, family, guests and a panel of Industry experts. The winning team will be awarded a cash prize of $1000, with second  and third placegetters receiving $500 and $250 respectively.
