An Academic Scholarship at CHAC is an opportunity for a transformative education

Cannon Hill Anglican College is pleased to offer a number of Academic Scholarships for boys and girls entering the College in Year 7, affording partial remission of tuition fees. All students, including those already enrolled for Year 7 at Cannon Hill Anglican College, or at other schools, are eligible to apply to sit for the Scholarship Exam.

The scholarship examinations are held at the College in March each year.

Please note: applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent residents. Temporary visa holders (e.g. 188 visas, 457 visas and 500 visas) are not eligible to apply.

The next exam will be held on the morning of Saturday, 23 March 2024 for Year 7, 2025.

Applications are now open here

CHAC Scholarships are a highly sought-after opportunity for boys and girls entering Year 7 to study our innovative curriculum and gain partial remission of tuition fees (potentially until Year 12).

Exam Registration

Offers of scholarships for successful candidates are based on the scholarship examination results, previous school performance and an interview with the Principal.

Scholarships apply in the first instance for Years 7 to 10. A review in Year 10 determines the possible continuation of a Scholarship for Years 11 and 12 based on the following criteria:

  • adherence to the College ethos
  • commitment and contribution to the broader life of the College
  • excellent behaviour
  • a high level of academic achievement.
