CHAC’s annual Inter-House Swimming carnival is being held on Wednesday, 7 February at the Valley Pool (423 Wickham Street, Fortitude Valley).
Students have nominated for the events they wish to enter in Homerooms and have been given all details regarding the day. Students competing in the 100m freestyle event must meet in the Tuggerah Centre at 7am to catch the early bus. All other students will attend morning Homerooms as normal then be directed onto buses.
All students MUST wear their CHAC sports uniforms (ie PE shirts or House shirts) and CHAC caps to the pool. No face or body paint, coloured ribbons or streamers to be worn. Please bring water bottles and sunscreen.
Swimmers can get changed on arrival at the pool. All competitors are encouraged to wear CHAC swimming togs; however, plain coloured board shorts and one-piece suits are acceptable. All swimmers must bring their own towels to the pool and swim caps are recommended. Only students who are dressed in swimming attire will be permitted to take part.
Students should wear sunscreen and apply it regularly throughout the day.
Students are encouraged to bring their own water bottle and enough food to last the day. A canteen is available at the venue.
