Primary inter-house Athletics Carnival
Primary students perform well in the Write a book in a Day competition.
The College offers students the opportunity to be involved in the life of the College community through the many extra-curricular programs available, which helps them to become a part of the community, gain confidence, experience activities they may not have done before, and feel that they belong.
All Primary students participate in weekly health and physical education activities. Years 4 to 6 students may trial for a range of team sports offered as part of the Junior TAS inter-school competition. These include Boys’ Cricket, Rugby and Basketball; Girls’ Hockey, Touch and Netball; and Mixed Football (Soccer) and Touch Football. Primary students can access District, Regional and State representation opportunities through the Lytton and Gateway Districts.
CHAC has many different extra-curricular activities. Although I enjoy Mathematics, English and SOSE, CHAC sport is my favourite activity. I enjoy the sporting carnivals and competing for my House and running with my friends. Having your House cheering you on is the best feeling, even if you don’t win.”

Students participate in ICAS (International Competitions and Assessments for Schools) competitions, conducted by the University of New South Wales. The program offers independent diagnostic assessments, with a competition element, in the subject areas of English, Mathematics and Science.
