The Cannon Hill Anglican College Parents and Friends’ Association (P&F) is a representative body of parents and friends of the College who are committed to advancing the College and the quality of education available to its students, through mutual support and fundraising.
Apart from undertaking an advisory role, the major focus of the P&F is to collaborate with parents and friends in providing support, either by way of voluntary support of various College and P&F activities, or by raising funds to donate to the College to support identified areas of need in the College.
The Parents and Friends' Association Committee for 2020 is:
|Vice-Presidents||Pauline Wyatt, Marie-Claire Payne and Scott Leisemann|
The P&F Association also operates the CHAC Uniform Shop.
The Wetlands Festival is themed around Environment, Community and Sustainability and celebrates the fact that the College is host to one of the last remaining stands of Melaleuca wetlands in Brisbane. The P&F organises this event which takes place every two years and is the major fundraiser for the P&F Association. The 2018 festival was held on Sunday 27 May 2018 and raised over $50,000 for the College.
Do you love trivia? Is your head full of interesting facts and figures? Then you will love the P&F’s annual Trivia Night! This event for CHAC parents regularly sells out, offering a fun-filled evening of quizzing, raffles, lucky door prizes, and prizes for best dressed and best table.
Market stalls are provided a various times of the year to enable students to purchase a special gift. A great team of parent volunteers organise these activities, with all funds raised going to the P&F.
P&F meetings are held twice per term. Parents and friends of CHAC are always welcome to attend. Please view the P&F Constitution and meeting schedule below.
