Wetlands Festival Update

The countdown is on, with just over five weeks to Wetlands 2018! There is plenty of new content to see on the website, including which rides and amusements will be at this year's festival. The Wetlands Festival is also a CHAC P&F Association Facebook Event  - please share this link and keep an eye out for updates; there is a LOT happening this month.

Please deliver donations, bring-along goods, etc before school to Senior or Primary Reception. You can also contact wetlandsfestival@chac.qld.org.au to organise drop-off or collection of bulky goods.

Look out for the Wetlands Bulletin next week and, in the meantime, I draw your attention to a few special messages as below.

Win your share in $5000 worth of CHAC Tuition Fees!

Tickets are selling very well so, if a refund of school fees up to $5000 appeals to you, I encourage you to visit www.trybooking.com/UKSF sooner rather than later as the ticket sales are limited to just 300 at $50 each. The winners will be drawn and announced at the Wetlands Festival on Sunday 27 May 2018. Fees may be credited to a 2018 student of CHAC, as nominated by each prize winner.

SECOND PRIZE: $700 credit on tuition fees for 2018
THIRD PRIZE: $300 credit on tuition fees for 2018.

Colmslie Arts Deck at Wetlands – Convenors required

Due to considerable parent requests, the Wetlands Festival will operate a licensed bar on the Arts Centre Arts Deck. Statutory licensing laws will apply. We need a group of parents to run this area on the day of the Festival. Can you help? As this is a new activity, the Convenors are doing the bulk of the organisation and operations will largely be an on-the-day commitment. If you are able to assist, please get in touch with Jenni ASAP on 0400 613 351 or PnF_President@chac.qld.edu.au.

Bring Along Campaign – chocolates and drinks required

Wednesdays until Festival Day are Bring-Along days! Please donate 375ml cans of Coke and Pepsi varieties, Lemonade, Fanta, and Lemon soft drink flavours, or 375ml to 500ml standard bottled water. Donations may be dropped at Primary or Senior Secondary Reception, before school. Don’t feel like shopping? Visit https://www.trybooking.com/UUIS to make a financial donation which will be used to buy stock. We are keeping track of bring-along donations and the winning four Homerooms (two in Secondary and two in Primary) will each win a FREE Pizza lunch valued at $75 each!
