A beautiful Saturday at the Mt Gravatt Show brought out the local crowds to experience the many delights the show had to offer.
One of those delights was watching two Year 10 students who entered the Textile Fashion Parade on behalf of CHAC. Competing with adults in an open section was an experience for the girls to remember. Still their creativity won through, with Maxi Mossman receiving third prize for her coral bleaching work. Hermione Knowles-Green should also be applauded for her delicate response to drought and climate change. Well done! They now both move onto the Wearable Art section at the EKKA in August.
