The work of Class of 2004 graduate, Guido van Helten, was featured in The Weekend Australian Magazine (May 21-22 2016 edition). Guido is an internationally-renowned street artist whose commissioned murals adorn
buildings from the side of apartment blocks in Rome and Minsk, to the highly-publicised silos in Brim, Victoria. Guido graduated from Southern Cross University in 2008, with a Degree in Visual Arts and has become famous for his ‘developed appreciation of architectural elements, cultural influence and research-based appropriation of historic or archival imagery’. At the time of going to press, Guido has commenced a project in Laguardia, Spain, working in Bodega Solar de Samaniego.
