CHAC’s robotics students came away with 1st and 2nd place wins at the weekend’s Brisbane Regional RoboCup Junior competition held
at St Peter’s Lutheran College.
After many weeks of training after school, four teams competed. Two of the teams competed in the Rescue Maze division and took out 1st
and 2nd place. These students programed Lego Mindstorms robots to simulate a rescue mission that included the robots finding victims,
delivering rescue packages to the victims, and all while navigating through danger zones.
With CHAC’s Year 9 Robotics and Programing course underway this semester, students have big plans to explore the potential of robotics
Congratulations to all students.
