It has been fantastic to see our Secondary students re-engage in sport during the past week, if only in modified training sessions.

Trials will continue during the final two weeks of Term 2 for students that have registered to participate in the following sports: Girls’ Touch Football, Girls’ Volleyball, Boys’ Basketball and Boys’ Football. The times and days for each session are available on the CHAC Sport website. Once teams have been selected (end of term), students will move to two training sessions per week when we return in Term 3.

TAS TRIALS

All training sessions will follow the return to sport government guidelines. The specific measures being followed by our coaches and students are outlined in the College's Return to Sport Information guide available here. This document outlines the measures in place to make sport at CHAC as safe as possible for all involved, as well as our current understanding of what sport will look like for the remainder of 2020. While not all aspects of the sport schedule have been confirmed, we are confident that we will see sport return to competitive games next term and therefore we are proceeding with enacting this plan.

TAS has also just released an updated schedule for the remainder of the sporting year, with Trimester 2 and Trimester 3 sport combined into Term 3. You can read the TAS information here.
