CHAC students continue to excel in Representative Sport. Congratulations to the following students on their achievements.
Alysha Gallagher and Charlotte Hansen swam at the Australian School Sport Championships last week in Melbourne. Charlotte swam in two individual races, the 50m and 100m breaststroke events. Charlotte made both finals with a 6th in 100m breaststroke and bronze medal in the 50m breaststroke event with a personal best time. Fantastic results for Charlotte's first National meet. Alysha swam in three individual races – 50m freestyle, 50m butterfly and 100m freestyle. She made all finals, coming away with two bronze medals and a gold medal. In the 50m freestyle, she equalled the Australian school record with a 25.97s swim. Both girls also achieved awesome results coming away with medals in the relay races. Well done girls.
