Last week, the Primary school held an incredibly successful Athletics Carnival where we saw our students demonstrating determination, persistence and resilience. The participation was outstanding, with students being proud of their personal achievements. Congratulations to all those who participated!
A massive thank you to the staff and parents who worked tirelessly over the two days. The Sausage Sizzle was a huge success, and we thank the P&F for their generosity and time in running the BBQ, ensuring all students were fed.
100 Days and counting!
Prep and Year 1 students spent Thursday morning celebrating 100 Days of School. It was wonderful to hear the students counting different items, stacking 100 cups and writing about 100 things they wish they could have.
This week, we welcomed the Mino-Jiyu Gakuen Primary School to the College. The Japanese student visit is an anticipated event in the Primary calendar, with students immersing themselves into the Australian culture and schooling system. Students will visit many Year levels where they will play games and complete activities that assist them with their English. In turn, our students have the opportunity to try out their Japanese speaking skills. We will farewell the students on Tuesday morning.
If you have not already purchased tickets for the Primary Disco, now is the time! It is shaping up to be quite a fun evening for the students. Many thanks to the P&F committee for organising this event.
A reminder that the CHAC Family Service will be held on Sunday 11 August in the Chapel. Please feel free to come along and celebrate St Clare’s Day. The service commences at 5.00pm.
