CHAC P&F Trivia Night
This year's CHAC Trivia Night will be filled with glitz and glamour, with a Page, Stage and Screen theme. Get your friends together and join us on the red carpet for a night of fun and trivia. Glam up your table and don your Page, Stage and Screen themed costumes. This year's entry price includes unlimited free photo booth pictures from 6pm to 8pm.
Quiz Master “Michael” from Elite Promotions will test your knowledge, with great prizes awarded to the winning and runner-up trivia buffs. There will also be prizes for the best-dressed table, best costume, lucky door prize, and last man standing
Tickets go on sale today (Friday, 19 July) via Trybooking. Food can be pre-ordered. Bubbles, wine and beer will be available for sale on the night. Places are limited, so organise your teams, secure your table and get ready for a great night of fun and fund-raising.

Container Refund Scheme
Details about the container refund scheme have been published in previous newsletters. This is a P&F activity, and we are looking at using the funds to help support environmental initiatives in conjunction with students and the environment club. Last term, we distributed 800 bags and this term we would like to significantly increase the return rate of bags.
Full bags can be left outside the Primary or Senior Secondary Student Receptions. You can also take them to any of the community drop-off points located at Coles in Cannon Hill and Wynnum West; Cleanaway-Morningside and Hemmant; Re. Turn-It-Salvos in Wynnum, and TOMR Recycling Centre in Tingalpa. By entering the College’s Scheme ID (C10144258), the funds will be directed to CHAC.

CHAC Fees Raffle
Would you like to win $4000 toward your student school fees? Then don't miss out on this year's Fees Raffle. Three prizes are on offer.
The raffle is open to current students from Prep to Year 12, and the prizes will be drawn at the Trivia Night on 30 August.

If you are looking for a break from cooking dinner, then please remember to order your delicious pies during the annual Pie Drive. They are available at a great price and are so yummy (the pepper one was a hit with my kids and I loved the homemade apple pie). Pick-up is available on Friday 23 August from behind the Canteen or the OSHC, or Saturday morning 24 August behind the Canteen during TAS Sport.

On Friday 26 July at the Primary Sports Carnival we will be hosting a sausage sizzle and cake stall for students and families–similar to the fabulous event at the Cross Country Carnival last term.
- Student lunch orders for sausages (including gluten-free and vegetarian options), drinks and chips can now be made via Flexischools.
- Only online orders will be accepted for students but over the counter sales will be available on the day for parents, families and friends. Please place your orders as soon as possible.
- We require volunteers to help cook and serve sausages–particularly over the busy lunchtime period. We appreciate any assistance and have set-up a SignUp Genius page for people interested in helping out. These community and fundraising events can only take place with plenty of willing helpers!
- Most goods at the cake stall have been donated by the organiser and will be nut-free. However, we are also asking parents to donate food items for special dietary requirements (gluten-free/dairy-free/egg-free). If you are interested in contributing, please contact Year 1 parent Julianne at firstname.lastname@example.org.
