Navigating the Future with AI is a webinar unmasking the career paths and opportunities the technology sector offers current secondary school students.
This is an event with a difference because it has been organised by CHAC Year 12 student Emma Cooney. After attending the Young Women Leaders in AI Camp in 2019, Emma gained insight into the need for mathematical minds in the creation of machine learning. Emma has co-ordinated this one-off special event as part of a wider push to equip the next generation with skills of the future.
During the webinar, students will be joined by industry experts discussing their own inspiring career paths into the world of AI. Attendees will also get a crash course in Amazon Web Services’ Machine Learning tools, and learn about their exciting new technology. Participants can ask these experts their burning questions and interact with other like-minded students.
Artificial Intelligence is an emerging part of our future with the capacity to help solve some of our world's biggest issues. This online event will explore the ever-changing AI industry, and how secondary school students can navigate a career in this field.
Navigating the Future with AI has been organised with support from Young Women Leaders in AI, Amazon Web Services and a bursary granted from Deloitte.
