Junior TAS Rugby

The season started in terrific form for the Year 5/6 Rugby team. After many weeks of hard training sessions and developing the team's skill base and cohesion, the Rugby team went into the game against Canterbury with a great level of confidence. In a close game that saw plenty of points scored by both teams, the CHAC team held on to finish the game in amazing fashion to win 22-20. This is a terrific start for the team and is a great base for the players to continue to build on. I wish the team good luck as they go into a tough game against Ormiston this weekend.

Junior TAS Netball

After some interrupted training sessions due to wet weather, the Netball teams have been eagerly awaiting the start of the season. All players have grown in confidence, particularly our new players who've started their Netball journeys with a steep learning curve.

Last weekend the teams played their first game against Redeemer, Canterbury and West MAC and these games have now given each team an understanding of the level of competition they will be facing this term. The Year 4/5 Blue team won their game with a great victory, showing what they are capable of this term. Good luck to all teams for round 2 against Ormiston College.
