Junior TAS Rounds 2 and 3

Author: Gavin Hosking
Author Role: Junior TAS Coordinator

Over the past two weekends, with continued game time and training, there has been some huge improvements in both Cricket and Hockey across all teams.

This has resulted in some great outcomes in Hockey last weekend against Ormiston and St John's. The boys and girls are showing great skill in all teams and are continuing to display wonderful teamwork to score a total of 44 goals across the games. Some great individual displays from Euan Pascoe and Helena Hethorn in Year 6 and Emma Willis and Joshua Mellish in Year 4, who also played big roles in their teams continued success and development.

Cricket teams have been working very hard at training and thanks to our fantastic coaches, Craig Hankinson and Craig Johnson, who have continued to develop the boy’s skills in all areas of fielding, batting and bowling. These skills have visibly improved and the boys are continuing to grow as a team.

I congratulate all Hockey and Cricket players for a fun and successful first half of the season. All games are being played in the right spirit, and teams are continuing to strive for success.

I would also like to thank all parents for their continued commitment and helpfulness with all coaches and managers. The result of this support is evident on a Saturday when the students leave the field with a smile on their face.
