Last Friday night, the College Auditorium was abuzz with over 220 students across Years 7 to 9, many of who embraced the theme of ‘Wild Western Fiesta’ and came in outfits full of colour and cowboy bravado!
After several weeks of preparation by the enthusiastic Year 9 Junior Secondary Representatives and Year 12 Junior Secondary Mentors, the night was a success with an overwhelming sense of fun permeating from the Junior Secondary students in attendance and over $2000 raised for Diakonos.
With the theme inspired photo booth, the amazing glow sticks and Mexican taco station, the students had a fantastic time immersing themselves in fun of a dance party atmosphere, safe in the College Auditorium. The balloons, streamers and alternating lights that decorated the auditorium ceiling, and the music played by the Year 12 DJs, certainly made it one of the best nights on the CHAC calendar.
The night would not have been successful without the assistance from the staff members who volunteered to supervise and the careful planning of Junior Secondary Director, Mr Nastrom-Smith. What a night to remember!
