Each year, students from CHAC are entered in the Australian Geography Competition. This is an extremely well-recognised competition sponsored by educational institutions such as University of Queensland, Monash University, Macquarie University and the Australian Department of Education and Training. In 2018, we made the opportunity available to students across Year 7 to 12. The results were outstanding. Over 80,000 students sat for the competition across all the states and territories of Australia.
The Social Sciences Faculty is proud to acknowledge the sensational efforts of the students listed below who either received: results that placed them in the top 1% of their year group across Australia; High Distinctions – representing the top 5% in the Nation; or Distinctions – the top 10%.
Well done – it is great to see Geography thriving at CHAC.
