This week's recommended reading is titles Four reasons why your child or teen may be anxious, and explains that increasingly, Australian children are experiencing anxiety at levels that are affecting their school achievement and overall wellbeing. He suggests there are four main reasons your child may be experiencing anxiety:

  • You are passing your anxiety and stress onto your child
  • Your child is overloaded
  • Your child doesn't play enough
  • Your child focuses too much on the future
