CHAC Music students to study at the Queensland Conservatorium

Author: Dr Malcolm Cole
Author Role: Head of Faculty, The Arts

Three CHAC students, Isaac Reed and James Wilkie (2020 Seniors) and Matilda Monaghan (past graduate), have been offered positions to commence music studies at the prestigious Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Griffith University next year. This is a wonderful achievement for all students.

Isaac has been a Music Captain this year, been a member of many CHAC Performance Music Ensembles on saxophone, and has studied classroom Music and Music Extension.

James studied Music and Music Extension and was a member of many ensembles playing trombone.

Graduating from CHAC a few years ago, Matilda has continued her studies on French Horn, and was a Music and Music Extension student as well as performing in many ensembles.

Congratulations and best wishes to these students on their exciting achievements and also to their many instrumental and classroom teachers and conductors.
