CHAC Goes Yellow for Mental Health Awareness

CHAC Goes Yellow for Mental Health Awareness

Author: Sarah Leisemann
Author Role: Chaplain

On Friday 30 and Saturday 31 August, CHAC will launch its hello yellow mental health awareness campaign.

The College is committed to continuing the conversation around mental wellbeing, and students can get involved by wearing a yellow accessory with their uniform on Friday 30 August. Wear a yellow scarf, ribbon, socks or bandana with the intention of encouraging conversations about how we care for our mental health. Posters with ‘Top Tips’ for looking after your mental wellbeing will be located around the College.

On Saturday 31 August, our 1sts sporting teams will wear dazzling yellow jerseys to highlight the importance of looking after your mental health. Wear a yellow accessory and visit our information booth at the Saturday sports BBQ area.

National RUOK? Day will be held Thursday 12 September, and we believe it is important to continue these important conversations throughout the year.
