Calm Your Mind and Body

Primary students have started exploring the wonderful resources included in the BRIDGE BUILDERS Online Program. Students have learnt how to calm their mind and body, and I hope you have taken the opportunity to discuss the program with your child, as well as work through some of the online activities with them. 

If you have not yet received a letter to introduce you to the BRIDGE BUILDERS Online Program, which included your child’s username and password, please contact your child’s classroom teacher.

This week, students will learn how to Calm Your Mind and Body. They will learn about their body and mind and how conflict impacts their physical and mental health.

Being able to recognise feelings and know how to manage them and calm down is a life-changing skill. Calming down helps us to stay in control and make choices that are not only good for us but are also friendlier to others.

TheCalm Mind and Body resources are available to assist you when speaking with your child about managing their feelings in a healthy way.
