On Wednesday 14 August, CHAC celebrated the hard work of all the Arts students across the College in our annual Breathless evening. From fantastic drama performances to an incredible display of artworks and media, and music performances, the night was one to remember.
Our incredible Junior and Senior Dance Troupes kicked off the night and showcased their talents in opening dance routines. Designed to share the wonderful creative work that happens within the curriculum, the night featured a cornucopia of exhibits revealing the talent and dedication of students from Years 7 to 12. From lino prints to ceramics, to film-making and foley design, it was wonderful to see the breath of opportunities that we have within the Arts curriculum.
It was an extremely well attended evening, with hundreds of proud parents and students enjoying all that was on offer. A co–curricular performance of Snapshots from Home concluded the drama performances and the Mex Band topped off the Music performances with a rousing number.
We would like to particularly thank all the Arts staff for all their talent and dedication to the students in fostering creativity. We, as Arts Ambassadors, are very glad we were a part of Breathless 2018. We enjoyed having the opportunity to share our work with our parents and friends.
